Terms & Conditions

One-night stays are welcome but please note we have a minimum night stay policy on long weekends/public holiday weekends and certain special events weekends.

The maximum rooming configuration for our suites is 2 persons. Please note that we do not have any rollout beds or cots available on the property.

Prices are quoted in Australian dollars and are on a per Suite per night basis. The rates are subject to change without notice until booking is paid in full.

We cater for dietary requirements but PLEASE ADVICE US 48 hours IN ADVANCE so we can prepare accordingly.

Check-in time: from 3pm to 7pm (later check-in is possible – if prior arrangements are made before arrival. If you know you are arriving after 10pm, or have been unavoidably delayed, please call and advise)

Check-out time: 11am

If you need to depart early in the morning, please settle your account the previous evening.

FREE internet access via our secure WiFi wireless network (on an as-is basis and fair use policy applies and we reserve the right to deny access at our discretion for over use).

Pets: Sorry – no pets allowed (visually-impaired persons with guide/seeing-eye dogs – with identification excepted of course).

Parking: We have ample undercover parking for all guest vehicles inside the property.

If you are bringing a trailer with a race vehicle, we can accommodate you inside the property but please advise us in advance so we can ensure adequate parking arrangements for all guests. If you have a classic car that you would like to park in a lock up garage then this may be possible if prior arrangements have been made (subject to availability).

All vehicles are parked at owners/guests risk.  We do not accept any responsibility for damage to vehicles while parked on the premises at Grey Goose @ Smiths.

Our privacy policy: any personal information collected during the booking process will be securely stored and will not be on-sold.

Our booking and cancellation policy

Please book online at our official booking site.  Your information is secure and the best rates are on our booking site with No Booking Fees.

We require valid credit card details (or payment of one night’s tariff in advance) to secure a booking/reservation. (We do not accept tentative reservations)

A deposit is not required (unless your reservation is not able to be secured by a valid credit card).  When your booking is CONFIRMED and secured by a valid credit card, we guarantee your reservation and we will hold your room.

Cancellation of a booking over a special event or holiday period (including but not limited to Christmas, January, Moto GP, V8 Supercars and World Superbikes events) your booking cost will only be refunded if the property is rebooked.

Cancellation of other confirmed reservation/booking:

• up to 7 full days before the day of arrival will incur an administrative charge of AUD$50.00 per room at our discretion.
• within 7 days of arrival, will incur one nights accommodation (at the tariff for the booked room) charge as cancellation fee regardless of the reason for the cancellation, unless we are able to resell the room.
• via a no-show (non-arrival without prior notification) for a confirmed booking will incur the full cost of all booked nights that we are unable to resell.

Settlement

If you book on our official booking site, we will ask you to pay when you are here at Grey Goose.  We do not take payment at time of booking.

For settlement of your account, we accept Cash, EFTPOS (for Australian Card Holders), Visa and MasterCard as preferred settlement.

We advise we are unable to accept foreign currency or cheques of any kind at check-out time.

NON SMOKING Policy

All inside areas including our rooms and bathrooms etc. are absolutely NON SMOKING at all times.

Should we determine that guests have been smoking in our room areas, we will charge a minimum of AUD$500 to have the room professionally stripped, cleaned and sanitised.  It is a condition of staying with us that you agree to our non-smoking policy

Providing it does not interfere with the enjoyment of other guests, we have no objection to guests smoking in the garden areas away from the house.
